Mission is the word we use to describe the sharing of our experience of God and his love. We hope never to be elitist, or "better than everyone else" Christians that you would avoid at all costs, but rather ordinary people whose lives have been changed by an extraordinary God, and who want to tell you about it.

At certain times in the year we run Alpha.  This is a 10 week course, meeting on a weeknight to share a meal, hear a short talk and have a chat. It is a open, welcoming, informal place to ask all the questions you’ve always wanted an answer to. The food is usually pretty good too!

When Alpha is not running, we often have informal sessions where you can get together with church members and the clergy to ask any questions, and talk through what it means to be a Christian.  Do get in touch if you would be interested in coming along to a session.

Our missionary partners - Jason and Tracey Day

Working with CMS, Jason and Tracey are based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Jason has been seconded to OMF (Overseas Mission Fellowship) and is working as a personnel manager, overseeing and caring for individuals and families working with OMF in East Asia.  Tracey, a trained nurse, is currently a homemaker, giving her many opportunities to witness and minister to the people in her community.  As a church congregation we offer support to the Days through prayer and financial assistance.  You can download the Day's latest newsletter here.

Our social events reach out to our local community.  By celebrating key events in the Christian year we hope to help people understand a bit more about the Christian faith and feel the love and care of Jesus.
